I'm also wondering this, as my wife and I had Prez memberships, specifically for the private training.

That aside, the conversations on the Facebook groups (screaming lawsuits!!!) are more lively than CalGuns... I guess folks here are still asleep Saturday morning.

        Wow

        I joined in 1999

I have received nothing on the changes

        This is BS

1- need to show insurance of $100k or buy their $100 policy per class
2- buy all Ammo at front sight
        3-$500 year membership cost
        4- $25/ day training cost

If their is a lawsuit I'll join this time

Share group links? Don't think I'm in any of those FB groups.

              I'm waiting to see...

...what the Calguns Front Sight apologist posts.

I just finished reading the whole excuses pages...He needs to rename it as "Bullschit in Abundance".

He was an amateur conman in the beginning with the real estate baloney. He refused to hire RE experts to advise him, and/or at least verify the bona fides of the person he blames for that disaster.

Blaming the members for his poor management takes more guts than a slaughter house, but that's the way he always works...it's never his fault.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

Man, I was about to go later this year. There are other places to go that are also good. Forget these prices.

My prediction is that the school will close and the range will be rented out to private trainers and/or schools. Which would be great because those bays are quite suitable for individual schools.

Eventually, I predict when that happens that they will allow lunch trucks to come over and sell food on the grounds
Really don't know where to begin... I mean, with these changes, there will be a significant decrease of students. And I don't think anyone in their right mind would still want to continue with FS with all the lies/deceit. Close? Someone buys and re-opens? Then again - Pahrump is not one convenient/accessible place.

Oh yes - the town is going to get a big hit economically...

That said - Brad is having his house built on FS. What is Brad's connection - is FS going to him or what not? Just conspiracy speculation...

I am certainly glad we’ve been enrolled for the many years that we have and the many classes we have taken certainly was worth a lot more than any money we have sunk into Front Sight. In many ways, I am glad to have taken advantage of this great experiment. It was fun while it lasted.
                    Good for you D...

Am looking at my spend - less than $400 for a membership of 4 (me, wife and 2-kids)... Thanks to @DesertClimber for the wife and 2-kids. Then $2K for the President1. I have had 3 classes so far (4DDHG, THG and ATHG) and the upcoming private class (3-days - 2D Practical Rifle and 1D HCMP). Wife had the 4DDHG and both boys have had the 4D class. I think it is more or less break-even...

Check the first URL - group for those that have President memberships...

At least for a few that chimed in - we LOST all assets except for a single "Coin" as a gift.

Don't know why folks are surprised. From the start it reeked of pyramid scheme.

I never understood how the system could economically support itself.

I'm in the 4-day handgun course right now and saw the email this morning. I don't think I'll be able to continue coming after these changes. I would consider continuing my membership for the $500/year maintenance fee, but having to pay $75/day of training plus being forced to buy their o er priced ammo is the deal breaker.

Not surprised, I knew it wasn't sustainable as is. These changes are pretty radical though.

It is the end of FS. Unless you live close, why would you pay 400+ per day for private or 75/day for a class, plus the cost of ammo. Along with the 50/yr background and the 50/month account maintenance fee. No longer worth it.

I had given my kids and wife memberships way back when. Not going to pay to maintain those, so they are lost.

The money I spent over the years for upgrades, hotel, condo, private training gone. According to the email he was supposed to off set those. Right now in my account I have 1 coin and 197 FS bucks. Last month I had like 3M points.

I want to just drop it and say goodbye but think I need to maintain my account at least for a couple of months to see how all this plays out. I am absolutely in on ANY lawsuit.

Here is my real complaint about all this. When this lawsuit thing originally happened and he asked for money, I declined because he never asked the membership if he should engage this fundraising marketing guy. He made a bad business deal. He originally kept if from all of us because he was always saying, HE and US would completely fund the NEW FRONTSIGHT RESORT. All those emails about how he was almost fully funded, etc. All BS. If you have all the money then you don't need to hire some guy to get you investment money.

Then for years, he was like we are winning against this crook. Well, I guess not.

I would bet that unless he starts to bring in outside events to FS, the place will be sold in less than 2 years. I can not imagine a large group of people taking this and saying sure, here is MORE money.
