    Noveske Shooting Team Competition Gear

I've been talking with Cold (Jansen) from the Noveske Shooting Team and he pointed me to their new site with NST-approved gear. Pretty cool site.. check it out.

That barricade support doodad looks interesting but the one that really caught my eye was the Noveske NST 5.56. Surprisingly, they're recommending a 16" middy for competition, instead of an 18".

That is curious, given that two of them are running 17" rifle lengths and only one is running a 16" mid.
WTS: Ewbank AKM & NDS-4 AK receivers, Custom Chief AJ Ruger Mini-14

    WTS: Oakley SI Shoes

    WTS KAC rail panels

Noveske makes some good stuff and the guys in the team are great, but if I wanted advice on the best stuff to use, I'd probably not ask a manufacturer or a sponsored shooter... but that's me

LOL, Noveske doesn't even sell a 17" barrel... though you can get one through MSTN.

The spiky barricade thingy does look intriguing.

I dunno.. looks like it will be in the way most of the time. Are you going to have three of them on your hand guards, one left, one right and one below? I can't really see how it would be ok to move them around during the match, so no, I dont really see the point...

That's a good point -- I was told Open guys can attach/detach their bipods as accessories, not sure what rules for Tac Scoped say.

Ah, here we go, an itemized list of what can be detached/attached.
5.1.10.1 Bi-pods, monopods, slings, ammo/mag holders, flash lights are
allowed to be added or removed at any time during the match,
providing that they are allowed in the entered division.
Actually, found this photo, it looks like they're doing exactly what you said, there are 3 of them mounted here:

I am digging the Noveske shooting team's TRX handguard:

2 of the team members are shooting Glock 34. Minor pistol in 3 gun? Must be very accurate shooters.
If you can't shoot good, at least look good shooting

Most 3gun matches use time-plus scoring where you dont get credit for shooting major. I shoot a 9mm CZ TS most of the time.
