IDPA - Defensive Multi Gun

Looks like these rules will give the clubs with restricted range space (hence the pistol caliber carbine division) a viable venue and most likely draw in some shooters who would not participate in a regular 3 gun match with 300 yard plus shots. So another division has emerged, starting with SASS Cowboy Action (the original 3 gun), to outlaw 3 gun (Mystery Mountain, Rocky Mountain...) to USPSA MultiGun to IDPA 3 Gun. So who will be the first to market the official IDPA approved rifle magazine pouch?Comment

Need to tweak the shotgun rules for CA and allow Saiga-12. I know for a fact I am a lot slower with the bullet-buttoned Saiga-12 than a conventional auto-loading shotgun.

I would love if Prado IDPA and or ISI shootist adopt this!!!Comment

Prado would probably only allow the pistol caliber stuff since their bays aren't rated for rifle. You could maybe run the rifle stages on that last bay on the end.
I've been out to ISI but haven't shot there. Do they allow centerfire rifle on those action bays?Comment

I know that ISI doesn't allow rifle shooting in their two upper practice bays (as configured for IDPA matches) but do allow pistol caliber carbines up there. I can't speak for the reasons why or whether the same guideline apply for their regular IDPA bays (the 5 lower bays).Comment

ISI will run rifle calibers if they decide to go with the IDPA 3 Gun. Have no idea if the Saiga will be allowed in IDPA, but it is allowed in Open Division in USPSA multigun, but not in limited, because the magazine is considered to be a speed loader.
Caseless, do you mean to say you can load 10 rounds faster in a tube fed shotgun??? You need to buy a shot timer and try it.... No one in the 3 Gun world can load a shotgun faster than changing the stick on a Saiga, no one. That's why it's the new super mojo shotgun.Comment
