Concierge said that the insurance is the only fee you cannot use the F$ Bucks.

That, just as an experiment - I did convert my wife to “Gold” for $50.

We shall see in the near term how the Gold and non-Gold are different…

This makes things interesting.

I upgraded to the Knight and have a trip as you know booked in a couple months. I booked the trip before the restructuring. Then FS put a bunch of F$ bucks in my account to compensate me for what they wouldn't be able to deliver with the Knight upgrade...the 1911 most importantly, the manuals, and all the other stuff that was promised but could no longer deliver.

But because I didn't upgrade to Gold Status that's all been taken away, which is fine because then I don't have to pay a daily fee and any guests I bring with me to private do not either. If I had "upgraded", myself and my guests would have to pay the $75/day fee. I'll be honest, I would have ZERO problem paying that ebcause I do believe it's well worth it. I am just hesitant because I am unsure if/how/when they will just change the rules again.

I do have over 1 million of the old school patronage points, so it's essentially free background checks for life and free transfers of any memberships or 4-day cert I have. Just checked myfrontsight.com account ( I keep checking to make sure I haven't been booted! ) anyhoo I got all my credits back! No more coins or FS bucks! Also, all my certificates were consolidated to 2/4 Day Handgun/Rifle/Shotgun. Did not get my Equipment rental certs back though.
