Not sure what the next step is. However I do 100% believe nothing at all would have been walked back from the original restructuring email had nobody at least started the organizing process. I think the amount of push back was unexpected, he likely thought everyone would send him more money no questions asked...

It's a combination of most of those. Keep in mind by test time, the Instructors have been evaluating the students for 3 days and have a good feel for who is making the times, who may be struggling quite a bit and who is 'in it.'
When observing the line, they're more focused on the the G/DG candidates and keeping others in their peripheral. They're trained to listen for a shot after the whistle, and can turn their head to look for who shot late as odds are the weapon is in recoil still and they can see who shot late
Keep in mind unless they're absolutely certain who was late they won't give the penalty.

It's just a matter of whether they see you or not. With turning targets though, it's a different story.sigpicComment

By ridiculous I was referring to Piazza's latest email. He's all over the place.sigpicComment

what do folks think about the latest email? Does anyone believe that it was always the plan to not restructure, and it was just a plan to separate the wheat from the chaff? Or to stir the pot?Comment

I think there are 2 possibilities:
1) The restructure was a funding ploy where he planned on offering "two paths" all along.
2) The restructure as originally stated was intended for all members, but he changed that plan after all the member pushback and fall-out.
He's claiming (1) was the plan all along. If true that approach was an obvious mess up. I think that's possible and would fit his repeated sales tactic of taking two and giving one trying to give the appearance of you getting a good deal. I actually don't think this was his plan in this case, regardless of what he's claiming in emails. I think that because it was an ultimatum so extreme, it's not the approach one takes if trying to continue the game. Maybe he simply miscalculated. He also put a lot of thought into the new funding path, and that's not something you pitch lightly.
I think it was more likely (2). I'm thinking he wanted a real reset for all members. A do-over for whatever reason. Maybe it was to rest the pyramid scheme and play again, maybe it was an honest attempt to restructure the business model to something sustainable. I think the former is more likely because he stated in the recent email this was just a ploy. If he wanted an honest model reset, he wouldn't have said that as a redirection attempt.
In any case, I think he changed up the plan. Maybe it was the litigation pressure from members, maybe it was the epiphany that he really f'd up. In a case like this, any attention is not necessarily good attention. If the Gabe Suarez rumor is true, he's got to be seriously concerned about royally pissing off literally thousands of members.Comment

I know... That is why I am changing the topic - recommended food stops in Pahrump.
There is really nothing we can do with Iggy and his antics, er, emails. #banned
So, let us discuss something else in the meantime...

I don't think it was well thought out as what he is trying to make us believe. To throw Rick Green under the bus as he did, along with a lot of loyal supporters, shows us that it was ill-conceived.
In other news, there have been some good recent trip reports coming out of Front Sight showing that the training is going on as normal. This time of the year, attendance is normally light, especially in the mid-week courses, so the next coming weeks and months, when the weather turns pleasant, will be most telling.Last edited by acegunnr; 02-14-2022, 12:36 PM.Comment

Rick did say that at first when the original restructuring email came out, with the caveat that he would fulfill any obligations with people already booked. I don't think it's clear if he's done with FS permanently now, but there is certainly irreparable permanent damage there. The fall-out with Rick is also why I don't think Piazza did the two paths intentionally. If it was intentional, it seems amateurish not to foresee the blow back from people like Rick.Comment
