Last I heard they were still open, but that was just before the statewide closure. Their website (https://www.laxrange.com/), say that they're in fact open until further notice.Comment

I haven't, and I for one would love to get out of the house and shoot a match this weekend, but with the cock fight that's going on between the LA County Board of Supervisors, and the LASD Sheriff, I doubt they'll be open this weekend let alone be running a match.

Match 2:3
I called the range last night around 7:30PM, and the girl who answered the phone said they would be holding the match and that they'll be opening the doors around 6:30AM with the first relay going hot at 7:00AM.
I rolled in around 7:05AM, and there were three employees and no one else. While I was filling out my paperwork, another competitor showed up and the two of us and one RO were out on the range within a few minutes for relay 1 (Stock). While we were shooting, a third competitor arrived, and swapped places with the earlier competitor for relays 2, 3, and 4 (Unlimited, Pocket, and Rimfire).
I imagine the low / slow turnout mainly had to do with the current state of affairs, and that GSSF didn't send out a reminder email the week of the even like they normally do. It was great to get out of the house if only for a few hours and put some lead down range. In speaking with Raul and Phillip at the range, they're thinking of holding a 4th day that will be an open range where those that participated can come to shoot and they'll give awway the awards and prizes.
A special thanks to all the staff at LAX that put this series together, and continue to work at an essential business taking care of everyone's 2A needs.
