I got the email as well. I'm planning on going to at least two of them. I wonder if they'll be honoring all the divisions (Stock, Unlimited, Pocket GLOCK, and Rimfire), or only one (Stock) like they did previously.

The link appears to be old as the GSSF Membership cost is no longer $25.

      Thanks Chad!!

How do the indoor matches work? Ive only shot the one at burro canyon. Are the indoor ones just shot at different distances?

Here is a link to GSSF's website regarding the Indoor League.

In short, it's basically a stand a deliver COF consisting of an NRA D-1 target at different distances at a par time. It's actually a lot of fun, and quite a deceiving challenge.

            Stock & Unlimited COF

            D-1 10 rounds 15 feet OR 5 yards 15 seconds
            D-1 10 rounds 25 feet OR 7(21 ft) yards 15 seconds
            CHANGE TARGETS NOW .
            D-1 10 rounds 30 feet OR 10 yards 15 seconds
            D-1 10 rounds 50 feet OR 15 yards 15 seconds
            D-1 10 rounds 75 feet OR 25 yards 15 seconds

            Pocket GLOCK COF

            D-1 5 rounds 9 feet OR 3 yards 15 seconds
            D-1 5 rounds 15 feet OR 5 yards 15 seconds
            CHANGE TARGETS NOW
            D-1 5 rounds 25 feet OR 7(21ft) yards15 seconds
            D-1 5 rounds 30 feet OR 10 yards 15 seconds
            D-1 5 rounds 50 feet OR 15 yards 15 seconds

A buddy grab a snapshot of this at the range yesterday. Looks like it is starting an hour earlier, and finishing 2 hours early than it had in previous leagues. It's been a while since they've held one of these, but I think they're under anticipating the turnout / popularity.

Thanks for posting Chad. Was wondering where to sign-up... LAX Indoor is just a 10-min drive from the office.

Can the "indoor" course of fire be fired "outdoors"?
Before there was Polymer there was Accuracy.

I know they have done a variation at the CMP range in Talledega but thats all I have heard. I think moving shooters or targets to the various distances would be cumbersome.

I think there was a range in Sac that was running the Indoor series and one in Bakersfield but not sure about this year.

Well, it "can" be, but other than the GSSF Match held at CMP every year, I don't think GSSF permits it. The whole purpose of the GSSF Indoor League is to sell guns to ranges, so the range needs to be part of the GLOCK range program, and for that, they need to rent guns, and I don't think very many outdoor ranges do that.

Darn. I asked because the club I'm a member of cannot swing an outdoor match (at best they could have ONE of each stage), but they could swing the "indoor" course of fire.

But exactly to your point, yep, everyone would have to bring their OWN Glock, and no one is selling anything there.

There just isn't an indoor match in the center of CA. They are too far north of me or too far south to bother with.

I'm not motivated enough to work through a Gun Range local to me to make this happen. I do however have membership is a nice private range as a platform I could try and work, but as mentioned, it's not laid out well enough for a regular match.

A few years back, I really was this motivated to try and bring them back to SoCal, and Stephanie from GSSF was actually very helpful in helping me understand the program, and the associated requirements. I was able to give her the name and location of a range, and she would even tell me if they were currently part of the GLOCK range program, or if they needed to join. A range needs to be a member of the GLOCK Range Program to host an indoor league, and membership in the program requires that they purchase X number of guns each year (at a discount) to be used as range rentals.

I then actually scouted out each range to figure out which ones could handle a 25yd COF, and reached out to range management with a complete CBA (Cost Benefit Analysis), the application, and who to contact to make it happen. Out of the six or so ranges that I reached out to, only one of them replied to me. They said they didn't have the staff to run it, and when I offered to help, they stopped reply, so I can only assume they weren't willing to front the funds and become a member of the range program, and that pretty much made it DOA.
