I have an AR-15 that is .223. In order to shoot 7.62 can you just change the upper or basically you need a whole other weapon?

I've seen 7.62x39 uppers on Midway that'll fit on standard AR lowers. To get Nato 7.62x51, you'll want to start looking at the AR-10 line; that's what it was designed for.-- 09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0 -
7.62x39 requires a different upper and magazines.
