good luck finding IMR4198, it's a toughie. I strongly suspect many commercial outfits use IMR4198 for 223 since the ~6 month shipments of powder that pass through the market like a massive bubble alwyas seem to miss IMR4198 even when other very popular powders came back like 4350, H4198, still others.

I have an 8 lb jug, and it seems to be one of the easier powders to find. Recobs has 8 lb jugs right now.

Oh very good then, looks like the commercial guys finally got what they wanted. good news! That was one of the "metrics" powders I was looking for months ago, the one that to me was one of the true signs of production catchup to market demand. (regardless of what the shelves really tell us of course)

It's a good powder. I was surprised to see it imacted so much when "H" powders always seem to be more popular. No so for 4198! I can still pick up a pound of H4198 locally anytime I darn well feel like it.
