Cheap Bastard Case Lube

91% alcohol did not work well for me, I tried the Yellow Heet and found it wasn't much better than the 91% alcohol. I then used the RED HEET and that worked great.

I'll spend the little extra for the RED HEET since I can't find the 99% alcohol anywhere in my location. I found the RED HEET at Walmart for a reasonable price and used it.

All I use now is the homemade lanolin mix. It works great.

do you have a frys or another electronics store? they use 99% alcohol for cleaning electronics.

Thanks for the heads up, nearest Fry's for me looks like Palo Alto. I didn't think about them.

You want really cheap bastard case lube to give as a Christmas gift?

When you change your oil, stand the bottle up in an open glass jar to collect the last few drops. In a year you will have enough drippings to lube a huge number of cases at no cost.
