Casting Silver Bullets

Thanks guys! For the record my Dad loves the grips, in the end it cost just slightly over $1000 but was well worth it.
Things to note:
It makes the gun significantly heavier, its surprisingly a lot of silver and its much heavier than wood.
The notch on the underside that allows the safety to engage must be ground out with extra clearance. I suspect with wood its not a big deal if the latch hangs up slightly, but with silver it will completely stop the movement.
If I had to do it all over again I would have cast only a flat pair, no holes at all. They don't match up and even accounting for shrinkage its still a guessing game. Its better to have someone who knows what they are doing drill the holes and steps.Comment
