    Titegroup does it all?

I don't have a copy but the latest October Handloader has an article called "Hodgdon Titegroup hanloads for almost everything"

Might be handy for someone who has lots of that powder ...

Too dirty for me, but it is very versatile.

I don't find it particularly dirty, and use it in many calibers. I just scored some CFE Pistol, and am looking forward to seeing how it shoots compared to Titegroup.

Titegroup gives very consistent performance with light loads. Titegroup is also very stable under very cold and very hot weather conditions.

Airsoft and shooting other pneumatics tends to solve the dirty powder issue.

Titegroup load data has been published for just about every pistol caliber known to man so I wonder what the "news" is here in this article.

Now if they venture into rifle loads with it, that would be some interesting data to see.

That would be a bomb in the making with the burn rate (fast). Like a good car wreck, I would still have to watch.

Actually, cast bullet shooters have relied on 3 basic pistol powders for a long time for reduced loads in various large and small cases.. Bullseye, Unique, and 2400. Bullseye is in the titegroup range, Unique is in the middle and is similar to Universal, and then 2400 is in the magnum realm of pistol powders serving such cases as 357, 41, and 44 magnum...

Titegroup could be used in reduced rifle loads and since it is case volume insensitive, it would likely do just fine. If you want the highest velocity obtainable, you would not use titegroup, Unique, or 2400.. but just because you don't know any better, is no reason to not do some research..
