    Shooter Supply, Riverside

    Hey CGers,
I'm sure many of you are aware, but I just discovered the store (yesterday). I was there and met Boone who is an exceptionally helpful guy that is easy to talk to. Although the store doesn't have a ton of powders in stock, one can order online (more availability) and pick up in store. Which I appreciate because we avoid haz mat fees.

Bottom line is I feel compelled to inform and hope others will support a local asset.

I've used them before, good local place but lately prices have gone up considerably. When powders were $26-$28 per lb I could see it. At $36/lb I'll buy online.

I stop by there only when I have business in Sacramento (which is maybe once a year).

It's a bit far from the bay area, but I do like their selection.

I called them about a month ago and I was not thrilled about their prices nor their lack of powder. I aint even gonna ask how much the 22lr is.

I am sure they are good folks, but they need a better stocked inventory if they wanna compete. I think they were gonna be getting in some H110 and they had some 4064 at the time, but I am not certain about their stock levels.

I will give them +1 for not being a dick over the phone.

The full length dust cover rail makes a world of difference in the "when I run out of bullets I'm going to beat you to death with the pistol" look that causes bad guys to run in fear, and lesser men to feel inadequate. It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!
