shopping list for new reloader?

Hi. I wanted to start reloading for 8mm mauser,30-06,7.62x39,7.62x54R,.22,9mm. I ordered a lee hand press but wasn't sure what else to put on my shopping list. I don't shoot alot and am on a budget. I'm looking to make my own ammo that is cheap and can be brought to any indoor range.

A Lee hand press for a bottlenecked rifle?

Oh boy.

I think you should look to get either a single stage press OR a Lee Classic Turret (4 hole) for starters...

I would NOT use ANY hand press to resize rifle cartridges, but I am a girly man...

The rest of the list will be the basics and your dies for what you want. Lee carbide for the pistol, and either Lee or RCBS or Lyman for the other rifle dies... Oh, and Hornady UNIQUE case lube.

Your book should have explained all of this for you.

IF you do not have a book, then go out and buy a Modern Reloading by Richard Lee 2nd edition, OR a Lyman 49th edition. I have heard more folks say the Lyman was a better book, but Lee has all the recipes in the world... Buy them both, read the Lyman, use the Lee for load data along with the Lyman and you are on your way to success.

AND do not worry about the books and their size. They look thick, but you only have to read a little portion of it, the rest is for all kinds of other things...
