Xtreme bullets raised prices

A friend gave me about 20lbs of brass that I dont reload for. I gave a little away then stuffed 19+ lbs of brass into a $12.00 flat rate USPS box and sent back to X-treme/Freedommunitions in Lewiston Idaho. Got a full credit for a 500 count box of 45ACP 200 grn plated RN with free shipping. They also included 25 pieces of deprimed and tumbled 45 ACP brass. Great deal.

I get e-mails from X-treme and they are always offering something good. I'm stocked up with 45ACP and 9mm for the time being.

Even with price increase X-treme bullets are still a good deal.

You need to look at a case of Montana Gold bullets, it's the only way to buy them, any other way you are just wasting your money 2000 230gr FMJ w/shipping for $375 or 18.8 cents each, which is a little more expensive than Xtreme. If you go with Bayou Bullets you can get down to 10 cents each. In my opinion the Bayous shoot better than Xtremes.

If you shoot 9mm MG HP 124grs are 9.8 cents each Xtremes HP are 9.2 cents each and the Bayou (RN) 6.6 cents The Bayous shoot great I have no issues with using them in USPSA comps.

Thanks for the response. You are indeed correct that buying the MG bullets in cases is the only way to get them at a price comparable to Xtreme prices. I will definitely look into getting a case in the future.

Try Power Bond Bullets
I load them in .44 mag to the same specs as jacketed bullets with H110.

Appreciate the response. Wondering why you're loading JHP. Are they more accurate than RN? I thought Xtreme only sold copper plated and not jacketed. Most people say that accuracy is negligible between the 2 types of bullets... But I've never loaded HP/JHP as I prefer the cost savings for plinking.

They are a target JHP so they aren't made to expand which is why they are cheaper then other JHP bullets. The 185 JHP bullet is popular with bullseye shooters because of their accuracy potential compared to RN. Just buy them by the case and they are only an extra $12/1k.

Their 223s are full metal jacket and every bit as good as hornady. 40, 9mm, and 45acp also run great in my guns. Revolver/magnums, not so much.

how well do the bullets shoot? I'm thinking about getting a couple thousand at that price. Do they ship reasonably fast? One thing that bugs me about extreme is they take about three weeks to ship

Everywhere I have purchased bullets usually takes right at a week to be at my door...

I haven't shot the RMR 9mm bullets yet, but I have shot 5.56/.223 pulled w/marks from multiple vendors with no issues w/iron sights @ 100yd.

I have shot multiple plated bullets from multiple vendors, including .380 in 9mm when findings were thin and they all shot great (but I only shoot out to 50yd steel plates[mostly shoot 7-15yd] w/9mm, and 100yd with rifles, and I am not the best shot [not including the red dot on my MKIII, I am a dead-eye with that]).
