As far as looking on eBay for a price, I am sure that they are well overpriced, and since I was not inclined to list it, I am not trying to get top dollar. Simply trying to help a guy out. I actually think I talked him out of my LNL and into a Dillon, so you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

What if I decide to give it away? This is actually pretty likely. (Much more likely than listing it for sale). Would this be the proper place to offer it to a new reloader, or would that offend your delicate sensibilities too?

I warned ya and forgot to mention ibfstilly. Like, Randall mentioned he isnt the one who makes the rules just tries to establish the obvious just ignore him and move along. It's one of the reason, just like in the handgun forum , that you get people not doing their research. There is a thread at least once a week there asking about 80% ar pistols. A search would have yielded answers. Not saying that you asking was trouble. We're here to help at least some of us are. Although, I do like it when Randall chimes in it's funny in a good way.

I think that what I will do is do a "Why I need a free Hornaday LNL AP" essay contest. The winner will be chosen from a poll of Calgunners. If there are more than 12 people who do essays, I will eliminate enough to get to 12, and then make the poll.

My sanity has been questioned many a time. Thank you for that recycled comment... And I dare say that for someone willing to go to the trouble to list something for sale but not care about what they get, well, I don't see it being my sanity that should be questioned here. AND, unlike most folks here, I am a published author and I enjoy typing/creating things so when I discover a pattern or something that I can make work, I work it in whereever and whenever. That is just one of the things I do. Offended, nah, not me. You can not offend me. Nobody here can offend me. BUT, haters gonna hate so on with the show!

Now as for giving it away? LoL. Interesting idea but since you pose the question AND you have already started the thread, then I think it is a good idea and I hope it goes very well for you. I do not envy you if you have yet a solid reason to pick a winner though. Unless I had a preconceived target response that I was looking for in the respondants' claims that I was collecting to examine for further ponderance of the finalist, I would be driven mad trying to decide whom to give it to and ultimately letting the fate be decided by a few 20 sided dies...

And to put it another way from a previous correspondence, If every other thread was about what a perceived valuation of something; we would get a lot less done around here. Not that it is work, but things would be harder to find among threads. And by that I mean they would be hard for ME to find and by ME I mean...

I've always considered that designation as someone who's work was picked up by a publisher and printed with no investment by the writer.
