    by "A little less mild" I was looking for data less powerful than the 23.5gr of H110 which was the minimum starting load which I tried.
    For an in betweener load, 2400 works great. I shot a lot of 2400 before I ran out of it, now its like unicorn babies to find. I think I have a load recorded still if I can find it.

      And I don't begrudge you that choice in any fashion. At the same time, I wouldn't worry about something between. There's little reason (IMHO) for a steady diet of hot stuff anyways. There will however be limited published data for say 20 kpsi loadings.
