Has anyone tried this yet? It was debuted at shot show and I just saw grafs has them in stock. It looks like a dream come true if you reload 300 blackout.

Are the kids still shooting 300 BLK? I figured that the fad would be over by now. It looks like a useful product. Well worth it if you do a lot of those small rifle cases.

I wonder why it says

In order to trim 300 AAC Blackout, you must be aware of the following:

You MUST be using an XL650 machine

You MUST use the RT1500 trimmer

You MUST use the Dillon Short Trim Die Toolhead DP62112

Is the tool head on any other machine to thick to get the trimmer low enough? I know with a RT-1200 on my Hornady LnL you have to have it screwed down as far as you can in the LnL bushing to get proper trim length. I have zero threads showing on the locknut where the die goes into the motor and zero threads showing on top of the locknut that locks the die into the bushing.

It would be nice if it worked on different machines.

I bet you could use it on a single stage if you got those raised shellholders that redding and rcbs sells, or maybe just redding...

In the video they claimed a user had 500,000 trims with it with only 10% wear which sounds impressive. Not having to use a harbor freight baby saw seems like a huge selling point by itself.

300 BLK is probably 99% of the reason this product was introduced. 6.8 and 6.5 will be the calibers no one will know about in 10 years; that's the lunatic fringe....

I would say the percentage is higher then that

The 1200 is more then enough for 223 and 308. I am a little surprised that it doesn't for the 1050 yet.

Is this some kind of joke? The 6.5 Swede has been around longer than 100 years. Most people that like to shoot accurately have a 6.5mm variant.

I guess you're not aware of the ongoing battle between 300BLK aficionados, and the 6.8SPC and 6.5 Grendel loons...
