I like my Trim-it which is the same concept, but executed better with the micrometer adjustment, and the ability to change calibers.

I have it, Also had the cts and used the trim it too (including the 3 way prototype) .

The original can be used with a 3/8 chuck, their number 2 with the removable inserts requires a 1/2 chuck.

They all work decently well. I always revert back to my Forster because it can do more.

If you're near OC you can borrow mine and give it a try.

+1 for the Trim-it. The nicest thing about the Trim-it is that caliber changes are only a $15 insert instead of $69 for each caliber on the WFT. It also has a 3/8" shaft which will fit most drills. Between the WFT and the Trim-it, I would pick the Trim-it and never look back.

I have the original one in one caliber. It works as advertised. The trim it definitely looks like an improvement but I don't think I'm going to invest in anything fancier than the Lee system for my other calibers until they come out with the version that does the beveling at the same time.

Interesting video review of the Trim It:

I do not have one nor have I used one but a friend of mine got one and he is eyeballing that new EZTRIM-IT

Would I recco it? Yes but it comes with conditions...

ONLY if you HAVE to be as CHEAP as possible with the trimming and ONLY if you EVER want to do only 1 caliber EVER in your entire life.

If you are REALLY cheap then you will go with the CTS trimmer from the ebay seller for about $45 per caliber.

The difference between the CTS and the WFT is that one uses ball bearing bushing (WFT) and the other is a nylon bushing (CTS).

The WFT is about $75 and the CTS is about $45

The WFT seems to be better at NOT scratching your brass up.

The WFT looks like it came out to compete with the Possum Hollow Trimmer (PHT) and is very similar, except for a minor difference or two in size and materials.

The CTS will leave small marks all over your brass (because the case is spinning around in a nylon bushing...

THEN came Bronco and this damn new company he found called EZ-TRIMIT.

And yes, I do not like them because after touching it and caressing it, I became infatuated with it like it was a hot fudge canoli and I said- BRO I WILL TAKE ONE! And now I have one and I am GLAD I never bought the WFT, but I will soon have two CTS (.223 and .308) available (no, I am not taking sales requests) once I get my TRIM-IT up and running. And I was bummed that I had wasted my money on the CTS trimmers, but even more bummed that I impulsed this trimmer and gave away my lunch money... (but SO happy when I got it that I ran outside and punted my neighbor's chihuahua off the end of their driveway...)

Here is how the trimit compares:

              1. Uses ball bearing bushing to hold brass and not mark it up as much as the nylon bushings.
              2. Costs about as much or just a HAIR over the WFT AND has a new cutting blade that they are gonna make available that competes with the Giraud but for WAY cheaper- WAY WAY cheaper... WAY WAY WAY cheaper... Did I say WAY cheaper yet?
              3. Comes with inserts (I aint crazy about the single set screws for them, but if it works, then so be it.) And for the price you get TWO inserts of different calibers. Additional calibers cost $15 or so each and changing them is a breeze.
              4. Setup is hella eazy and I firmly believe that this is a company that I wanna back. If they can 3 way trim my remaining 5k brass shells in record time they have my FULL endorsement.

For the money, I would say spend a few dollars more and get the EZ-TRIMIT.

I wish they were around when I was looking at trimmers.

Oh and Giraud... Yeah, they were around, but they decided to NOT release their competing model until AFTER the EZ-TRIMIT came out and started taking their potential customers for a three way trimmer in the future. SO, they are too late to the party.

Forget about Giraud, walk past the wft, cts and pht and step into the line for the EZ-TRIMIT. They are AWESOME and give you the most BANG FOR YOUR BUCK.
