    Dazed and Confused

I have "9mm" bullets that measure .3985 and weigh 176.2 gr. They were sold to me as 9mm 115 gr but they are looking more like 40 cal bullets. What seems to be my problem ? Be kind : ) There was no homebrew present when these weights and measurements were taken .

Just for grins, are these a round nose flat point or semi-wadcutter?

Just by your measurements, I'd say .40.

They are copper plated with a slightly hollowed out bottom

                Get a photo of them.

I thought 40 cal was at least .401

These sound like a bit overcast for 9mm, but the weight is close to the 165-180gr for 40 cal/10mm... See how they fit after resizing the brass...

I'm betting .40. Way too large for a 9mm way too heavy.

                    9mm should be .355-.356
