Is there a trick to getting this stuff to meter better? I try to get 4.1 G and I get any where from 3.8 to 4.3. I'm using a Hornaday powder throw and it is great with everything else I use.

700x is no good for metering small charges through a powder measure.
I would not use it in small charges because it's so inconsistent.
It's much better in a shotgun where you are running around 20grs of it.
It is a shotgun powder after all...

Or you can get an old cell phone and tape the vibrator to the powder bin and wire it to power and a switch.

I use the lee adjustable charge bar, works like a champ. I use it with 800x also. With the pistol powder shortage, gotta use what's available. I've learned not to be picky over the last couple of years, and I've had the good fortune to be able to shoot despite the shortage.

BTW, phone vibrator is NOT strong enough, you need something that will make the women scream, not just giggle...
