    newb question




    came across these while case prepping. its all l-c 13 and have 4 indentations . im possitive my rifles didnt do it. im guessing they came in with some brass i purchased here. the white stuff is some lee resizing lube

    I guess that is how LC is being crimped now.

      Yep, crimped primer pockets. You'll need to swage them or run a primer pocket burr to remove the crimp.

        ok good. i have a dillon swage just found it odd some other lc13 brass i have doesnt have those indentations...so they are going to get prepped with the rest...

          I've seen these too. Seems like there's a bunch of different looking results of the crimp.

            You might experience a little more pressure being required to get the primer out initially. Once you swage the primer pockets, you will be GTG.

                You can definitely see an octagonal shape of the primer pocket due to the crimping. I had not seen prior LC crimping done this way. Good to know.

                  I really hope those primer pockets arent really that nasty looking
                  In person.
