Hey Derangerous if you are asking about my 400GR Sierra flat points, they rocked...
I only shot 50 of the 100 I made last time out at Steele peak as it was getting dark, but 100% of them hit my steel railroad track plate at about 150 yards. I didn't shoot the Wulf on paper to accurately measure group size, but they felt pretty good.
I can't remember RL7 powder load I used but it was the minimum. All the brass looked fine. Cycled perfectly.

Yes I was talking about your sierra flat points. And damn for not knowing what the load was, I would love to cycle some 400gr through my wulf, and I have access to RL7.

Derangerous, my 400G Sierra FP were loaded with 47.7 Grain of RL7 OAL = 2.140. In my previously once fired AA brass. When I get home tonight I can pm you all the pdf of load data I have found from some of the Beowulf dedicated forums. I can also scan the AA data that cam in my LEE die set. AA has 2 entries for heavy
          Sierra ' s: 400G (round nose I assume) RL7 48.6G, OAL = 2.180.
Sierra 500G (again no mention of projectile shape) RL7 40.0G OAL 2.180.
Always use the CCI #350 magnum pistol primers. They are hard and not prone to slam-fire. One of the AA produced rounds slam - fired on me, thank God my good safety habits had the barrel pointing down range when it happened, scared the crap out of me though. The above loads are just for reference, don't trust my horrible tapatalk typing.

Anybody that can recommend optics for the Wulf? It's my only AR platform without any right now, granted 200 yard max range is easy with Iron Sights, (I am using the M16 carry handle type peep sight and front flip up on the gas block) now which is more than adequate.
However I would like to stick an ACOG or EoTech on it like my other rifles, but the are no models dedicated to the Beowulf. I think the ACOG'S or EoTech being mil-spec would have no problems with the shock imparted from the Wulf. I have the pepper pot brake from AA installed as well.

I use an Eotech with an Eotech magnifier, good enough for a sledge hammer...

I haven't been on here in a while, sorry everyone. My load that have worked for me using IMR4227 is 36gr. Ive used that with 335gr Rainier bullets, 300gr FTX and 300gr Deep Curls. I had no pressure signs and groups were decent. No chrony available. I just checked my notes and I wrote down "try 35.7gr" so I must have felt that down loading might be a benefit. I haven't loaded any Beowulf in awhile.

Ive got up to 36.5gr with Alliant 2400 using the same bullets but found no difference between the 36.5gr loads and 36gr loads. Again, I don't have a chrony.
