    Anyone reload 25auto?

I found a bunch in some range brass today and I don't own this caliber and have no plans to every get one. Does anyone reload this stuff?

Somebody, somewhere does. That is the cartridge to shoot at someone and just p*ss them off. Less lethal than a 22LR, but supposedly it's more reliable in feeding and ignition. But won't kill them.

I have the dies and bullets but not very much brass. Hard to find on the floor when there's so much .22 on the ground!

Plan on loading some soon, haven't got there yet. Infact I prob need to sell some of the bullets I got... I think I bought way too much

I could pull out the ones I've found and save them for ya if you pay shipping. I don't have many now, maybe 20 or 30, but the shipping would be cheap.

This actually gives me an idea for a sticky thread..

People could just post rounds and qualities of stuff they've found but don't reload.
It would be a give away or trade only thread so if wouldn't be anyone selling.

I have lots of rounds that I'm sitting on that we're collected from the range. Some really nice rifle rds that I'll never reload but could trade to someone for something that I would.

You guys think this has any merit?

Tried this many years ago, watch your fingers when seating the bullet. Darn little bullets are finger pinchers.

Those would be neat necked down to .17 caliber.

I wouldn't reload 25. I mean how much .25 does anyone really shoot? Even if I had a cool .25 auto I wanted to shoot I'd just buy ammo and shoot like 50 rounds or so for fun.

Reloading them would be a trip! The primer takes up almost the entire head of the case.

Yes, it will kill and you know it. But let's resist the urge to get into another hissing caliber war in a reloading forum.

Like I said, reloading those little suckers has got to be a trip. I don't think I'd have the patience.

I found a handful in a bunch of range brass I was sorting. Never seen anything like it. So small. Don't think I'd like it too much

                        Heh.

Only documented case ever where a single shot fired from a handgun killed someone in riverside county was a .25 to the gut or the neck I think per the riverside county coroner.

This of course was told to me and continues to be told to me from time to time from someone in the shop when we joke about the .25 acp and Lorcins...

OP- Please do not bother to waste your resources trying to load a .25 ACP. MOST of the folks that buy a .25 acp will never reload them and usually never live past 35 if you catch my drift. I would say save it and sell it on the market or recycle it. THAT is one handgun caliber I think we can do without; especially at $.50 per shot...

Amazing how far off topic these threads go in a hurry. Pretty sure he was just asking if anyone reloaded it because he has some brass he'd give them. What is wrong with you people?

Yeah, 25 Auto might be my least favorite caliber.

Abysmal performance, finger-pinching to reload, and the weapons that shoot it are usually garbage. I avoid this caliber to the maximum extent! The last time I shot a 25 auto, the slide cut my hand. Ugh... Hate those things...
