I can get the stuff at local scrap yards for .70 per LB.
At the CB forum classified, you can get it delivered for 1.00 per lbs.
Do you reload .45? Could make a trade. What do need. -
That's to bad, I have tons of 9mm too.
Ever sense I started casting, I haven't shot any of my factory stuff.
There's just something about making your own and figuring out what works and what does not.

What you just did is place a disguised AD in the discussion forum. THAT is a big
Go sell it in the marketplace or at castboolits or ebay.
Seriously how hard is it to go to ebay and search LEAD INGOT and see what others are selling it for? Sell yours for those prices and be gone.
This thread needs to be deleted.

LOL. you mail carrier will be quite surprised, and maybe angry. I've never bought lead online. I got some for free via Wheel weights, and I scored about 300 lbs from a LGS for .50/pound already cast into 1lb ingots. Actually 100 lbs of it was in one solid ingot. I haven't tackled that one yet, but I look forward to it this summer.

I will tell you now how to do it RIGHT.
Get ONE large USPS flatrate box and 6 small USPS flatrate boxes. The smallest boxes they got, they are good for like a vhs tape or something like a dvd perhaps.
Treat those little boxes like CELLS and tape them together side by side so they are flat sided taped together like a cell pack. Then fill each one, you can get OVER 67 lbs of lead and prolly close to about 75 lbs if you fill right. Then close them and tape them shut. Then place them inside the large box. They will fit perfectly. Then seal the large flat rate box and tape it all over. When that box arrives it will look almost perfectly square. Just maybe run some fiberglass tape on the seams then packing tape the rest. THAT is how the pros ship it from castboolits...7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts.
