I just started reloading too. Also starting out with 9mm. Shooting out of an M&P full size.

I used 4.7 and 5.0 grains of Unique powder for my loads at 1.12" OAL and WSP primers. Found out I liked the 4.7 charge better due to less recoil. My M&P is also really broken in (3,000+ rounds) so the lighter load hasn't affected the ability to fully rack the slide. Not sure if it would even be an issue with a newer spring though, I think it's just enough powder.

The reloads I used to buy from laxammo.com have noticeably more recoil, but the same accuracy.

Can't wait till my shipment of 1500 projectiles from Xtreme comes in the mail. Ready to start experimenting with the Red Dot I have on hand

I am new to reloading as well. Just loaded my first batch of 30 over the weekend. I am shooting 9mm out of a CZ SP-01.

I used 4.2 grains of Unique powder with Berry's 124 gr plated projectiles. OAL was 1.158 with CCI SPP #500 primers.

I couldn't really find data for the combo and thought I would start off at 4.2 grn. All rounds went bang with no issues. or at least that I can see. Does anyone have a recommendation on the charge I should use? Maybe go up to 4.5? I am really concerned about over pressures and squibs. I will be using these for USPSA and squibs scare the hell out of me. I've always just shot Miwall reloads in the past.

When I get the rest of my gear in a month or so, I hope my first results are that good! The addiction awaits....
