Decent low cost manual case trimmer?

Looking for a manual case trimmer just for .223. Not a hand held job, got that and it's tiring. I don't want to spend $$$ on a electric motor version, just something with a hand crank would do fine.

Ordered one of these and am waiting for it to arrive. Will post a review once I get it.

This new tool trims cases quickly, with precision control over case length via a micrometer-type dial. The folks at ACT Tactical have developed an easy-to-use compact case trimmer called the TRIM-IT. Crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum, this sturdy case trimmer comes with a 100% lifetime guarantee. The $97.50 TRIM-IT features a micrometer that’s built into the unit itself.

      Lee deluxe quick trim.

The Deluxe Quick Trim Case Trimmer quickly and precisely trims your brass to the correct length at the same time it chamfers the inside and outside of the case mouth.

      Trimmer $20
      Dies $10

I have dies for .223, 30-06 and 9mm makarov. once you buy the trimmer, you can buy the dies as you acquire more cartridges.

I got this, and love it so far:

Chuck it in a drill and trim away.

RCBS,Lyman etc sell them Later if you want you can buy the motor/adapter for them. They are just hand cranked. So people will replace the crank with a bolt and cordless drill.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

OK Bumslie...then why were you using a Lyman at the clinic?

Does that Lee quick trim work well? Is it quick, easy, ergonomic? Because I was wowed by the Lee "Zip Trim" for the first 50 cases I trimmed...but I learned to hate it pretty quickly and got a lathe trimmer... That trimmer looks like it would be awkward, turning it from above...

Wilson is the most accurate and simple. You can upgrade to electric if you want.

I use a Wilson manual trimmer. I've had it for 25 years and I don't remember how much it cost, but it is a quality tool and well worth what I paid for it.

Personally, when trimming .223 by the bucket full, I really prefer the Possum Hollow mounted in my drill press.

I haven't tried one with a hand drill, so I can't speak to how that works.

The Deluxe Quick Trim will also chamfer and debur while triming. One and done. I actually got one for the V.C. Chapter, but I haven't really played around with it.

I am intrigued...test it out and tell us how it goes. For the price, if it's quick and easy I'd consider it for .223 (really the only rifle load I seem to load in batches over 100 at a time). Chamfer and debur is my least favorite part of reloading, so if I can cut that step out I'm in.
