Primer fell out during match

That's not a reloading issue, or a primer issue, it's a brass issue! I have only been shooting competitively for about a year, and have never seen anything like that. Did youi pick up that brass at Norco? that came out of a major 9mm open gun?

You don't hand prime for USPSA/IDPA/Steel Challange, that would take up the entire week for 250 rounds, it's all progressive for action handgun competition.

Happened to me using Winchester 223 Remington White box.
Primer came out after firing and lodged on my trigger assembly.
Good thing it was not on a match.

25 primers a minute by hand? That's one every 2.4 seconds. It would take me that long just to get ahold of a primer and put it in the RCBS tool, let alone squeeze it. I like to see a video of that. I mean, if you have a progressive, whats the point, especially for action pistol. Now I do hand prime for my hunting pistol, a Thompson Center .35Rem.

Why would you use a RCBS single shot tool when you can have a Hornady hand tool with its evil high capacity tray?

The tool feeds the primers from the tray itself.
All you do it put a case in the shellholder and squeeze the handle.
4 seconds per case (including filling the primer tray) would be an easily attainable rate for doing 250 cases.
