    5.56 Deal?

Over a year ago, I placed a backorder of few thousand rounds of Federal XM193 5.56 FMJ-BT 1,000 round case for $299.99 shipped. I would place a check up email every few months to make sure that the order was still active and to inquire about its status. I kept getting a "due to the nature of the demand . . .etc." email until the other day.
    The company replied back that
"Federal is no longer going to be making these large quantity supplies of ammunition" and they offered me the following, shipped:

    Federal XM193 5.56 NATO 55gr FMJ-BT 600 Rd Case $222.00

    And/or

    American Eagle XM855 62gr FMJ-BT600 Rd Case $222

Essentially that works out to $0.37 a round. Deal or no deal?

Thanks in advance for your replies. My apologies to the moderators if this doesn't belong in the "Ammo & Reloading" forum. Please feel free to move my quandary to the appropriate forum.

Not a bad price for factory ammo including shipping.

Yeah. Good price. I can get $170 for 420rounds of .223 federal. But maybe the prices are cheaper now. I have to revisit that.
