    should i even try...

to develop a load using RE-15 for my LR-308, when I am currently using Varget, and getting 2642 ave fps and 0.5"-0.7" consistent MOA at 100 yds?

what benefits could possibly come out of developing a load with RE-15???

R15 and W231 are 2 of the most difficult powders to get right now. But if you got it, I would.

I'd say no cause it's wasted components for testing, especially right now since the markets still not so great and you already have a great load.

BUT, it is always nice to have a back up load if you run out of Varget, or your stock of Varget gets ruined or something. But for me personally I'd save it and worry about it when or if it gets to that point. Cause if your shooting .5MOA groups I don't think you will see THAT huge a change good or bad cause Varget is a great powder.

But your powder your decision again I'd save it dude.

Having more load data and options are good... Plus RE 15 was on the shelf at cabelas last week.
