Question about dies and case trimming

Do re-sizing dies negate the need for case trimming?
I am looking at the Lee Ultimate Rifle die set:

It comes with 4 dies:
Full Length Sizer
Collet Neck Sizer
Easy Adjust Dead Length Bullet Seater
Factory Crimp Die

Do you still need to trim cases with the above dies?

Eventually you will still need to trim the cases. Especially if you're full length re-sizing. The case will last longer if you're just "necking" it. If you're loading for a semi-auto then you always want to full length re-size. After about 2 reloads the case will need trimming.

No, you will need to trim at some point.

Most of my once fired military range brass needs trimming on the first resize. The amount of trimming you will need to do after resizing will vary between brass manufacturers.

No, it is common for brass to became longer during resizing. Measure before and after resizing and you will answer that question. This is the reason bottleneck rifle cartridges cannot be loaded in a progressive press in one pass.

Look into getting an RCBS X-Die. They are supposed to keep the trimming down and prevent growth, but I have not gotten that far yet...
