    45 ACP 185gr LHP

I got some Lead hollow points 185grain for my 45 ACP from Precision Delta.
I was looking to see if anyone has any load data for the bullets. Having a hard time finding some info. I can find data on 185 grain Jacketed, but not for Lead.
Anyone have any data or a link to a data source, I would appreciate it.

    Thank you

Damn straight. I am willing to bet that 5.0gr of HP-38 will give you a sweet round...

I say that because 5.0gr of HP-38 is a great load for a LOT of .45 weights. And by lot I mean 200, 220, 230... So why not 185?

Of course that looks better. Since it is a lighter bullet you need to fill more space up behind it... okay so 5.0 might not cycle. But it is great for the others...

I Just did a new load today on the same bullet. I used 7gr of Longshot and it was nice, a bit snappy but nice. I was going to sale all my Longshot but decided to keep it as a back up powder. I used 7.0 gr of powder, 1.250 OAL and a .469 crimp. If I have to use Longshot again I will up the charge to 7.2. Hodgdon reloading data has a starting at 7.2gr minimum and 8.2 gr max load with a 185gr LSWC bullet so I used this as a starting point. Attached is a picture of my target that I was practicing double taps at different distances (3-15 yards).
