Anybody know what ammo this is?

Going through some old boxes I came across some handgun ammo. I have no clue what it is. They are plain cardboard boxes with 6 rounds in a row seperate by a piece of brown paper then another 6. The box is shut with staples. I'm guessing old military ammo. The case is a copper color same as the bullet with a thin red line on the bullet near the case. The case has an indent on either side, maybe a crimp of some kind. The only markings on the base of the case is "11" and "88". The bullet looks like a .30 cal with a overall length of 1.37 and a case length of about .975. It's a bottle neck cartridge.

    7.65x21 Luger I'd think.

Flight762 is probably right. This stuff was dirt cheap surplus in the mid 90's when it and surplus CZ52's hit the market. I remember paying $1 a box.

7.62x25 tokarev, it's worth it's weight in gold now that all the surplus has dried up. I still have 1000rds and no pistol for it, lol.

            +!

I have 7.62x25 formy ppsh-41 and my tt-33. I love it. Go buy a gun to shoot it. It does not cost much and is mostly NOT reloadable.

Hold on to it longer. I bet the value would triple faster than gold and silver. It probably did already. .

My buddy still has his that he purchased back in the early 90's, pistol that is. Too bad I did not buy one back in the days when it was dirt cheap.

Get a Tok or CZ52 and have fun shooting it! Nothing like a pistol round that ZIPS out at 1550fps!
