HP38 and WSF are the two go-to powders for the .45 ACP using 230 grain ball. HP38 and W231 are identical. At least this is what I have been told by many others.
I currently have some Bullseye waiting to be loaded. I have read somewhere that the original .45 ACP 230 grain ball was loaded in front of the Bullseye powder.
I have also managed to get the REX-1 powder to work very well for the .45 ACP. I did this because I was fortunate to get a butt-load of REX-1Comment
