Novice brass question?

I was able to find a bag of 50, new, unfired 7-08 Winchester brass. What is the suggested steps that I need to go through to be ready to dump powder into them? What say you? Thanks...

Resize with FL, trim to length if applicable (chamfer, debur), prime.

If it is new unfired brass, then it should already be sized correctly in regards to headspace. One issue with new brass is that the case mouths are sometimes deformed during shipping. I like to at least run the expander thru the neck AND chamfer the case mouths before priming and loading new brass.

I have to agree with this even though I am unfamiliar with the brass.

This is why. EVEN with 44 mag or 50AE VIRGIN brass, I was told that it still needs to be cleaned and trimmed or at least checked.

Virgin brass is different from once fired or factory loaded brass in that there can be small variances and the manufacturer leaves it up to YOU to finish cleaning/trimming it before you load it.

I have 1500 44 mag that are virgin shells. I do not have a 44 mag trimmer yet but JUST to be safe I would want to have one handy and check/trim all of them before letting them go into the mix with my other 44 mags.
