If you have it, I hope you have an adequate amount of it since Hodgdon says they will be discontinuing PB, SR 7625 and SR 4756 at the end of 2014.. Which is a bummer since I like all three of them.

I did some testing with it yesterday. From starting loads to max loads in my 1911. I was using 200 plated SWC from Xtreme and a 14 lbs recoil spring. At minimum loads no issues with cycling. at max loads I should have used a 16 lbs spring. Recoil is soft compared to Longshot and factory ammo. I can't tell on accuracy since I was at a rifle range but did manage to hit a a big dong at 320 yards a few times.

It meters very well in my Lee auto disk. the only issue I have with it, is that the powder is very dark and dull in color so you will have to look very close to make sure you have a change. The grains are small also. At 5.7gr loads a 45ACP case would be almost half way full....maybe. Overall I liked it and once I get settled in my new place I will do some accuracy load test but I will be using 185gr pills as I have better accuracy with them.

Ken Waters (of Handloader fame) found PB to produce excellent accuracy with lead bullets in the 9mm. About 3.5grs under 125's was the ticket. Cycled Beretta and Ruger with factory springs.
