    Is this brass damage an issue?



    It's hard to tell, but it's scratched/dinged from the extractor on both sides of the bevel of the rim.

    I have a lot like this.

        You should see some of the things my Deagle extracts. 44 mag never got beat up so much, but now going into 8+ reloads...
        7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...

              Can't really tell from the pic, but if you can feel any raised or outward brass, clean it up with cloth or flat file. Otherwise, you're GTG.

                    Make sure the chamber of the gun is nice and clean with no rough spots that might slow the extraction of the case. I polish mine.

                      Since extractor groove dings are no big I'll keep loading
