    Would you reload these?

These are a product of my Saiga... would you reload these, or send them to the recycler? The middle piece is undented for scale. I have several hundred like this.

When full length sized they should come out fine. I would find out what they are hitting on your rifle when ejecting and correct that issue for sure.

Full length sizing does little to effect most of them, some it irons out a bit but doesnt uncave the dent.

And its a known issue with Saiga pattern rifles.. I've switched to steel for it. Keep my brass for the AR now..

Those dings may shorten the life span of the brass but that is it. If you don't want them I'll recycle them for you.

As long as I stay away from max loads, this shouldnt effect case volume enough to worry about overpressure?

Nope. Once material has stretched it has stretched. This is now and always will be a weak fracture point from then on.

Maybe not this time around but if and when it goes I guarantee that will be the part that does.

When pressure builds that dent will flatten out to the chamber wall before the pressure builds much. Then you will have a dent in a new place when it ejects.

I would load it no problem.

If its creased I would scrap them since it creates a weak point in the case which could fracture when fired, which would be very bad. IMHO it's not worth the risk to save a .05 pieces of brsss.

Life is way too short to mess around with less than awesome brass.

Why put twenty-five cents worth of components in a three cent questionable brass case? It might work. What is your eyesight and finger dexterity worth?

I wouldn't buy a can of dog food with a dent like that in it at any price.

I don't reload anything that is that bad. It looks like 223. I use range brass and recycle anything like that, since the brass is pretty easy to find at my range. A number of the competition guys just leave theirs. It does seem like that would be a weak point and I also wonder if it would effect feeding of the ammo.
