    Redding Big Boss 2 Press

I just couldn't resist. I bought the Rock Chucker Supreme press, along with many extras, from a fellow Calguns Member. My son picked it up for me and it is waiting down in SoCal. My wife is going to go down and visit after Christmas and she'll be bringing it back with her after the New Year. I am sure it is an excellent press. However I have been looking at the YouTube Videos of the Redding Big Boss II press. And I wanted one, but couldn't find one. Well today I found one on line. The company is an online site called "Uniquetek.com".

The local Sportsman's Warehouse has the Big Boss instock, but not the Big Boss II. Furthermore the Sportsman's Warehouse website doesn't even have the Big Boss II available to order. Now in the store the Big Boss is going for $169 plus tax. And that is pretty average with the online prices I have found for the Big Boss. The Big Boss II price is around $189 on other websites, but wasn't in stock. Today I found it on this website:

UniqueTek 404 error page: We can't seem to find the page you're looking for. Visit our home page for more information.

I paid $179.95 plus $11.35 S&H for a grand total of $191.30 delivered to my door via USPS. I may end up selling the Rock Chucker Supreme press, or I may keep them both. My son says all of the items he picked up look brand new.

Looks like they used some of the Lee ideas there for decapping.

The only problem I have is that it is more of a family car where my turret is more of a sports car. My sports car turret is even RED to attract the cops... :O

BUT being that it is Redding, it DOES look nice and I'm sure it will perform very well for you.

Need GOOD SS pins to clean your brass? Try the new and improved model...

And remember- 99.9% of the lawyers ruin it for the other .1%...

If you just have a single stage, having a second one isn't a bad idea. I have two single stages myself and find the second very handy if I come across a piece of brass that needs something extra from a die I am not currently using.

          Yes

Stilly, yeah it is kind of big and clunky, but the shape of it appeals to me. And I like the green color it has also. But mostly I like the primer catch system which is similar to yours, and I like the different angle of the opening. Seems to have more room for fat hands like mine.

Jetman and Gunboat, yeah you're both right. I should keep the Rock Chucker also. Partly because I don't even know how it functions yet and I should give it a try just to see. That is a good idea to have two single stage presses lined up to perform separate tasks in the process. But I am thinking that the Rock Chucker Supreme and the Redding Big Boss II are so similar that I may want to do something else. I may sell the Rock Chucker Supreme and try to get $80 to $100 off of craigslist for it. Then I could put that money toward the Forster Co-Ax model B2 press that is in my local gun shop. It would bring the price down considerably and I would have two single stage presses with different specialties. That is the plan anyway. Unless someone buys that Forster before I can sell the RC.

Are you planning on selling just the press or the whole kit? If it's the kit I will give you $100!
