Dillon sizing die floated on Forster lock ring because it sizes the brass fullest (removes most minor Glock bulges).

Redding competition seating die foated on Forster lock ring for straightest seating, easy repeatable adjustment on different bullets.

Lee crimp die with sizing ring ground off. Easy adjust-ability. Softer crimp angle which helps with differing case lengths.

All set on Dillon 550B.

For plinking loads, nothing beats Dillon die set which I also have. Easiest to clean, internally floated and as accurate as my anal-retentive setup.

I don't use my RCBS set anymore after nearly 20 years of use. still works, just not quite as good.

It's an old 9mm set. Works fine for me, but don't pull your hair out trying to find one. I actually prefer Hornady Pistol Dies for my handloads.

Lee Carbide 4 Die set, found here on CG for about $25. The FCD comes in handy, of course YMMV.

I've had a Hornady die set, I own 2 Lee sets, 2 Redding sets and many RCBS sets. I prefer the RCBS and Redding sets. My 9mm and .40 are the RCBS Carbide sets. Just my $0.02.

Im looking at the 9mm dies sets out there just wondering what most guys are using, im looking at the redding pro comp titanium or the Dillon im also going to crimp in a separate die, im shooting idpa uspsa matches with 45acp single stack thought I would try it in 9mm thru an xdm thanks,,

Do you need bragging rights or just good ammo?

My 9mm Lee set includes an EGW U-die to size a bit lower on the case. I crimp in a separate step, since no matter what I try, I otherwise get enough gauging failures to force me to gauge every round and rework some with an FCD. I am very competent at setting up machinery, so I tend to think of the 9mm as temperamental.

I use Hornady dies for pretty much everything. They're priced similar to everyone but Lee, but you get 100 bullets for about $7 S&H which sweetens the deal a bit.
