Just curious but what is wrong with military brass? I thought military brass is the better brass before stepping up to Lapua.Comment

Cause folks belly-ache about that damnm crimp they like to put in it...
I like to play with my brass so it is non-issue to me... :\
Oh yeah, and SOME folks do not like the guns that fire the brass too, some of them machine guns really punish the brass at times...7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...
Need GOOD SS pins to clean your brass? Try the new and improved model...

I have some .308 brass and willing to trade for lake city .223/5.56 brass straight up? Pm me as I don't need .308 I just have it. That goes for engine out there as well.Comment

For machine gun fired LC brass, $.18 to $.20 is fair market price. For FGMM and LC LR brass, they are more like $.30 per case. 308 brass are not as cheap as 223.I need some help...
I either cannot find .308 brass, cannot find .308 brass in stock, or I'm finding brass for .30 cents or more per case, for 1x fired... I'm simply not paying that.
Where are you guys finding brass these days? Besides the marketplace, which honestly is usually not much better.NRA Lifer

M60 has primary extraction so no worse than the M1 or M14 but the MAG or FNSLR do not have primary extraction and there will be some rim and head pounding but not anything that would case the average guy a problem. If you are a high match shooter you wouldn't be reusing cases anyway. You would be spending your time conditioning new cases like an anal nerd and culling out 10% of the new. LOL I'm still shooting 1940s and 1950s LC DN FC 3006 cases and I loose more than I have to cull.
Stock up while you can.
Good luckWTS As new M47 Madsen 3006 w/bayonet.

All these posts, and he has not told us how much he is looking for. That would help sharpen the pencil, so to speak. I just bought a buttload of .308 in the for sale section under two weeks ago. I would part with some, it is all cleaned, but all only neck sized for the late owners rifle, so will need full length sizing unless it will fit your chamber the way it is. If you are interested, P.M. me.

Problem is, I said in my original post I don't want to pay .30 cents per piece of brass, especially 1x fired. But I keep finding links that are exactly that, or more.
I prefer FTF local from a marketplace seller, but I've yet to find even a single piece of .308 brass for sale in the county, online or otherwise.
I also don't use PayPal, so I stay away from sending people money in exchange for shipping a product (via money order).
That said... So let me narrow down what I'm looking for, to help my search...
Price: LESS than .30cents per piece of brass.
Condition: Safely useable and safely re-loadable condition, I don't care if it's new or 1x fired. I also don't care if it's clean or dirty, either way it will probably end up in my stainless steel tumbler eventually.
Quantity: 500 at the absolute most. I don't need anything more than that. In fact, even 200-300 pieces would suffice for some time, but 500 is a solid number.
Crimp? I don't care if it's crimped or not. I can swage the primer pocket.
Military or commercial? I honestly don't care. I also don't care if it's LC, Winchester, Nosler, Lapua, Federal or any other manufacture.
Other notes:
I don't care if it's sized in any manner or not. I will size and fire-form anyway.
I also don't want primed brass. I prefer to prime my own brass with my own primers.ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕComment

Here's a member who is selling unprimed LC brass for $.20 (1000 for $200) you might ask him if he will sell you 500. He's in the LA/Valley area as well so not to far if you want to do a FTF.Problem is, I said in my original post I don't want to pay .30 cents per piece of brass, especially 1x fired.
