    Anyone do a reloading class?

I'm trying to get into reloading and looking for a course for dummies. I live in the Modesto, CA area and looking for a crash course on the basics. I would like to load .223 and 40. I have purchased a single stage press and have a lot of brass.

Check th Stickies at the top of this Forum. Sac has a reloaders group. Lotta Dummies there to help out a Noobie..
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Dummies do not have a very long lifespan in reloading. I suggest you smarten up a bit and just get a decent book (that you only need to read a few chapters of anyways) and then come here with the rest of your questions.

Then we can help you discover your inner balistic artist...

That is why I offered to help him since he is very close to where I live.

I can also save him allot of trial and error while learning. Teach him a few tricks of the trade while I am at it to make things go easier and make a better product.

                You da man...

I really benefitted from having MV3006 nearby. He has been there and done that with most of what I have wanted to know about.

I took a reloading class taught by an NRA-certified instructor.

We went over the NRA Guide to Reloading. It was pretty straight forward.

The biggest benefit for me is that I was able to try different brands of single stage, powder measure, and ask questions, etc.

If I had know about the Giraud trimmer and a Chargemaster from the get go, life would have been a million times easier.
