    lee Turret Press help needed

So I am getting an old press back into action.
I cannot work out what holds the L shaped primer arm into position to stop it falling out of the ram piston.

    primer feed bracket?

Awhile back, you could have them refurbished for cheap. Call Lee.

The shell holder keeps it in place.

I load with a lee classic turret press. On the ram on mine there is a pin which the primer arm sits in.
        How old is the press?
I deprime then clean and use a RCBS bench primer. I like to make sure everything is clean.
        Hope this helps.

there should be a pin on the ram and it just sits on it.

The primer arm doesn't just drop in. The notches in the arm need to engage below, so jiggle it around a bit.

Take the shellholder off. It's in the way, when the primer arm has to go in or come out.

Look down into that slot on the ram Do you see a small diameter pin that crosses that slot? If so, there is a small "hook" shape slot on the primer arm that fits over that pin.

Remove the shell holder, insert the primer arm into the slot in the ram so that the hook shape on the primer arm falls over that pin. Replace the shell holder. gtg

If there is no pin down in that slot on the ram, you may have some mis-matched components.....

I have this same cast base.
There should be the small pin crossing the grove in the ram.
Also the ram on mine is turned so the primer arm rest to the side when the primer is seated.
I don't see a pin in your ram. Does the primer arm move into the grove and under the shell holder when you lower the ram?
That's the only way I see it working. If that's the case the easy primer's not going to work on your modal.
