High powered rifle don't think he's talking about lead.

You never know. One of my favorite 30-30 loads I do is a 160grn cast LFN bullet with 9 grains of Trailboss.

I am in fact loading 150gr sierra pro hunters, but the 30-30 takes to lead bullets like a duck to water.

was thinking about loading lead but opted not to simply because I found a good deal on the sierras... though I do have a bunch of trailboss so I still might try it.
