So in my quest to assemble the all-star lineup of .223 and .308 dies that I can use to load brass with, I found that I wanted to give a try to the X-dies.
But I have several issues right now, currently I have x-die mandrels for the middle of the dies, but no x-die bodies. I DO have several regular .223 and .308 die sets though from RCBS and one .308 from Lee.
The ONE .223 set that I wanted to try on some brass for practice until I got my x-die ended up missing the mandrel and ball inside so I could not decap or set neck tension. (yeah that sucks).
SO I talked to RCBS via e-mail about my problem and told them that I just wanted to purchase the x-die bodies at this point. Well, I was not really done talking with them but low and behold, I got a pack of two mandrels, .223 and .308 in the mail. Damn. WIth customer service like that they make it hard to not give them more money and just buy new die sets period...
Anyways, YET ANOTHER happy RCBS customer...
