hate my lee primeing tools

i'm done with both of them -silver and red.i could deal with upside down primers but sideways? and not once many times now.
don't want a lesson on how to use them,just recommendations on other tools.

I picked up the RCBS Universal hand primer. Works great so far. I find it easier to hand prime than use my press. It's adjusts to your case so you don't have to use specific shell holders.

I think that you seriously need to resize that image.

just pick up the RCBS had priming tool; either the universal or the one that requires shell holders. I have both & they both serve different purposes - the shell holder ones seems to work better for rimmed & smaller cases, where as I use to crap out of the universal for say 45acp

prime on your press. ive never had a problem doing that. just did about 250 pieces of .30-06 yesterday

I've had most of them. RCBS tool with the shell holder system was junk, I gave it away. I haven't tried the universal tool. Used both Lee tools, the older version worked okay but not great. Bought one of the newer versions and all it wants to do is jam up. My preferred auto priming tool is the current Hornady priming tool.

You have to feed it one at a time, but it is adjustable for depth. You can really feel the primer seat in the bottom of the pocket.

I use the RCBS w/shellholders and it works great. Last two weeks I went through 700 .45 ACP and 500 .50AE, without issue.

They're already out the money. I guess it's more of an ego thing. I've heard of some bubba's who would rather pollute their local lake with Lee tools rather than give them to someone else. That's fine, they'll help clean up the gene pool

Lee - old old - screw in shellholder - works very good -
Lyman 310 - tool - really good -
Lachmiller bench primer -- works the best
