The half Million round estimate is probably for all 3 of my machines. I thought about it and that might be a fairer guess. I have had a Dillon press since the late 80's and 2 550s for 20 years or so.

Yes it is. My SDB had it of use then was mothballed for several years. Anyways I pulled it out a couple of years ago and it needed work. I called dillon and thy said send it in. Think they charged like $20 for labor because it wasn't anything broken just necessary service. Fair enough. But I got a whole bunch of new parts too. And the worst part is that they wouldn't take my money for the parts.

True story here. So after I sent them the original check for service with the press I get it back like brand new. I see the invoice of what thy changed. I didn't ask for all that and so I sent them a check. The idiots returned my check. They wouldn't take my money. How the hell do they stay in business???

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

I called they were nice, told him the issue and he said. Well Ivan we have replaced most everything once or twice why dont you just send her in. I asked the cost for a redo, he said you pay the shipping to us and we will take it from there. It went out that day on the slow truck, for 16 bucks.

I figured since I went the cheap route shipping, and they have been busy as heck (on hold for 1/2 hour is regular). I would be out my 650 for a while. I was prepared to dedicate one of my 550's to rifle rounds as that is all the 650 does for me. In fact tomorrow was the day i was going to switch. Nope. I got a Fedex tracking number in my inbox today! Less than a week to rebuild and ship my machine, even with the slow boat on my end.

Buy whatever you want, I will always be a blue press user.
In a situation like that where it looks like they will have to replace a lot of parts and maybe do some machining, they will just send a new press.

God bless Mike Dillon and family. I hope they keep the company running for decades to come.
