    Sort of on topic sort of off- am I the only one that doesn't EVER load to max? I generally load to min and if the gun cycles, I don't really mess with it after that.

      No your not, I gave up load to the max or near max years ago! No sense beating me and the gun up with macho loads, my .45ACP likes 4.7 grains of 231 under a 200 grain LSWC...........

        I never owned a manual and most of them out there have the combo I'm using anyway or its just a wide spread between manuals all you ever end up with is a estimated starting/ending point anyway. What most people don't realize is most manuals are all over so its data is OK for both semi and bolt actions. IMHO the most usefull info is the cartridge dimensions.

          Handgun no,
          rifle- once. Then I figured if I wanted the speed of a 300 winmag, I should have bought a 300 win mag and stopped.
          I shoot a variety of guns and some of them are old, so I don't want to ruin them
