Reloading for .300WM

Is there brass other than .300WM that can be sized to work in a .300WM? Or am I stuck looking for .300WM brass specifically?

Anyone have an idea where I might find some once fired .300WM brass?

You have to use 300 Win Mag brass. I think that you could use 458 Win Mag brass but you'd need intermediate neck sizing dies to form them and that would be a pain.

If your real good at it you can use 7mm mag brass,but 300 is easy to find I see here all the time.

Never had a problem finding 300 winmag brass, but then again i use maybe 4 rounds a year.

I only have a manual trimmer at the moment, so I will prob stick with WM brass. I have found a few places on line that have some once fired stuff...

Can anyone recommend any brands that are better than others? Does any particular brand last longer or anything?

Lapua is the best but they no longer make 300 Win brass.There is a poster on benchrest central and 6mmbr.com that goes by Mike in Co who sells brass and last time I talked with him he still had Lapua brass.
RWS would be my second choice.
You can use 300 H-H brass or even 8mm Remington Magnum brass if your willing to trim.

New Lapua (if you find it) will be like $2.50 ea.

Nosler will be like $1.50 ea.

They aren't gonna last 6x and 10x as long.

I'd buy 500 at 25 cents, sort headstamps and dump any you don't want.
