I am just looking for some feedback from reloaders who are or have used Tula or Wolf Small Pistol Primers in the Lee Pro 1000. I understand that the manual clarifies the use of Remington or CCI only. What has been your experience and should I/can I use them safely? Thanks

Although I can NOT give you exactly what you want, I can tell you that when the manual was written, I wonder if Tula/Wolf primers were even around.I am just looking for some feedback from reloaders who are or have used Tula or Wolf Small Pistol Primers in the Lee Pro 1000. With that said, Tula/Wolf primers tend to be harder then other primer brands. It MIGHT be a tad harder to seat properly, but if this is the case then go and get yourself the Lee hand primers and hand prime your brass first, and THEN put your shells on the press and go from there...
I think some folks will even use a single stage or turret to resize/prime their brass, and then the next step is to the progressive press.7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...
Need GOOD SS pins to clean your brass? Try the new and improved model...

And remember- 99.9% of the lawyers ruin it for the other .1%... -
Thanks Stilly. With all the info I have read in other post replies you have left this is exactly what I need.Comment
